This project is read-only.

Open Git controlled projects in Visual Studio, Git Source Control Provider displays file status in Visual Studio's solution explorer. It has two styles, the traditional (VSS/TFS) style and TortoiseGit style.

The the traditional (VSS/TFS) style is the default. By using the Git Source Control Provider options page, under menu Tools | Options, you can choose to use the TortoiseGit style.

Now you can try to modify the files to see how the status icons change. And try Commit Changes.

Have you removed other Source Control extensions? VS will not allow you to switch Source Control programs I have found. I had to uninstall AgentSVN before I could get GIT to display in the menus even though it was already installed.

I installed this extension and done all the configurations. But it is not showing the file status in my solution explorer of VS 2010. Please advise.
