Git Pending Changes - Run script on Commit

Feb 9, 2012 at 2:54 PM

I have enabled the script that does a fetch after a commit. It works great if I do the commit from the Git Extensions menu (Git Extensions -> Commit). When I hit the commit button it does a fetch afterwards.

But if I hit Commit on the "Git Pending Changes"-view the script is not executed. Is it possible to enable scripts on this button??

Have you setup the git bash path in the Tools | Options ...? See it here:

Yes, path to Git Bash and to Git Extensions is set in the Tools -> Option -> Source Control -> Git Source Control Provider Options page.

To be clear, the Commit-button works fine. It does a commit, but after that I want a script to run...

I assume the script you mentioned is the Git hook. Right?

Im not sure what you mean with "the Git hook" but I am trying to hook up the existing script that does a fetch after a commit. See screenshot in the issue http://gitscc.codeplex.com/workitem/16779.
